Using the Library in Adobe Captivate 2

Library workspace

The Library panel, located in the Edit menu of the Adobe Captivate tool bar, lists all the media and objects used and enables you to easily view, and reuse your images, backgrounds, audio, video and animation that comprise your project. By default, the different object types are categorized into their relevant folders. However, using the Library’s context (right-click) menu, you can also move the different object types into a new folder.

You can also click on any of these toolbar columns to sort the list of objects within each of the object category folders.

You can float the Library panel outside of the program. Whether you move the panel to a different location within the program window or drag and dock it to the edge of the program window, each object will display the following information:

  • Name
  • Type
  • Size (in kilobytes)
  • Use Count
  • Date Modified
