The WBT Manager System Administrator

The System Administrator module is designed to be easy to use. You can log on the System Administrator using the default Administrator ID and Password, admin, unless they have already been reset upon installation. The screen shot below shows the overall layout of the interface.

The navigation tree (on the left side) provides a hierarchically of all the components of a WBT Manager system. The properties window (on the right side) displays the properties of each node on the navigation tree and allows you to edit them.

The navigation tree provides access to all the data in the WBT Manager database. It allows you to add, view, edit, and delete data elements. Each node (line) on the tree has a corresponding form or display that appears in the properties window whenever the node is selected. You can expand or collapse nodes by single clicking the plus (+) or minus (–) sign next to the node or double-clicking the node's icon or name. Each node has a contextual (right-click) menu. You can use contextual menus to add, delete, or modify categories or records.

Selecting any node in the navigation tree displays its corresponding property information in the properties window. For nodes that correspond to specific data records, the properties window contains a form with one or more tabbed pages. You can edit most of the information on these pages. For main category nodes, such as Students or Reports, the properties window displays instructions for accessing the records beneath them.
