Integrating Macromedia Contribute 3 and the Interwoven TeamSite 6.0 Enterprise Content Management System
Configuring Contribute 3 as the Front-End Web Page Editor for TeamSite
The steps required for configuring Contribute 3 as the front-end web page editor in a TeamSite environment are as follows:
- Install Contribute 3 on your local computer. Be sure to make note of the exact location of where the application is being installed.
- Restart your local computer.

Login to TeamSite at http://TeamSiteRoot /iw-cc/teamsite/common/start.jsp.
Note: In all examples “TeamSiteRoot” is the IP address or server name of your organization’s TeamSite CMS server.

Change the default web page editor associated with TeamSite to Contribute 3:
- Browse to http://TeamSiteRoot/iw-cc/localfilemgrsetup.
- Select the File Types tab My Settings page.
- Select file type extension that corresponds to the file type that you would like to edit with Macromedia Contribute 3. (In this case, I will select .cfm.)
- Click the Change… button.
- When the File Association dialog box opens, select the Browse button next to the Command line text entry box.
- Browse to the location of the Contribute 3 application that was installed on your local computer in step 1. The typical location on Windows computers is “C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Contribute 3\contribute.exe.”
- Leave all three DDE-related text entry boxes blank.
- Click OK.
- Click the Done button at the bottom of the http://TeamSiteRoot/iw-cc/localfilemgrsetup web page.

- Go to the main TeamSite Content Center web page located at http://TeamSiteRoot/iw-cc/command/iw.ui.
