About Interactive TV

Almost every major interactive television platform provider has licensed Macromedia Flash. Moxi (now Digeo), OpenTV, and Motorola are among the manufacturers who are embedding Macromedia Flash Player into their set top boxes. Macromedia is developing a Macromedia Flash profile for ITV, DVD players, and similar devices that is based on the existing ITV CDK.

Interactive TV Distribution

Macromedia Flash Player 5 is shipping in a number of set top box-based products. These products are primarily available in Japan but one can find a small number of platforms in Europe or the US. As digital set top boxes become more powerful, Macromedia Flash will become more broadly available.
