The following sections introduce some of the services included in the Digital Publishing Suite editions, and include hands-on activities to allow you to explore the features. The hands-on portion of this guide focuses on the Folio Producer tools in InDesign CS5.5 and the Folio Producer Service included in Digital Publishing Suite.
The hands-on activities require InDesign CS5.5. If you don't have a copy of InDesign CS5.5 or later, you can try or buy it from the Adobe InDesign CS5.5 home page.
Before you begin the tutorial, perform the following steps.

Part 1: Explore interactive features in InDesign CS5.5—Open an InDesign file and preview the existing interactive features on your computer to see how the interactivity renders on a tablet device using Adobe Content Viewer for Desktop.
Part 2: Use the Overlay Creator panel—Learn how to add interactive elements (such as video content and slideshows) to your InDesign layout and prepare interactive content for publishing to a tablet device.
Part 3: Create a folio—Use the Folio Builder panel to import the horizontal and vertical layouts that are the basis of your folio file, and then modify their properties. Use Adobe Content Viewer for Desktop to preview the content in both vertical and horizontal formats.
Part 4: Add multiple articles to a folio—Add a cover and another article to the existing folio, and then add preview thumbnails for each article. View on your desktop or download to a tablet device. You can also share with collaborators by using the Share feature available in the Folio Builder panel menu.

Part 5: Manage and publish the digital content—Log into the Digital Publishing Suite dashboard, assemble the articles in the correct order, and then publish for readers to download to their tablet device and preview. Use the Folio Producer Service to edit folio content.
