Setting up the Transparency of Headlights

  1. In the score, select the second sprite.
  2. Drag the Transparency Tweening behavior from the library onto the W3D scene. The parameter window shown in Figure 6 appears.

  3. Set the Trigger parameter to none.
  4. Set the End blend to 0.
  5. Select lumiere in the Shader to affect pop-up menu. There actually are four light beam models using the same shader, and changing the shader blend property affects all four models.
  6. Click OK to close the Window.
  7. Click the Play button in the toolbar or press Enter on the numeric keypad. The movie starts and the headlights disappear, as shown in Figure 7.
