The Workspace Manager panel helps you with creating and deleting workspace layouts. Deleting an unwanted custom workspace layout in Fireworks CS4 requires knowing where the workspace layout files are stored, so you can delete them manually. Users have to be aware of the following locations, depending on operating system:
Windows Vista: C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Fireworks CS4\Commands\Workspace Layouts\
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Adobe\Fireworks CS4\Commands\Workspace Layouts\
Mac OS: /Users/<user Name>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Fireworks CS4/Commands/Workspace Layouts/
Because these paths are difficult to remember—especially in a shared workspace environment—I created the Workspace Manager command panel to help control your layouts.
