This building is an example of "pixel art" where elements are created on a pixel level and have a very pixelated (aliased) look. Given the capabilities of Fireworks CS3, however, this image makes full use of vector objects as well as bitmaps. This fact increases your workflow and makes the effects, such as transparent glass, quicker and easier to create.
