Drawing and Animating a Character in Macromedia Flash MX 2004

Many animators use Macromedia Flash for detailed vector-based animation. One of the strengths of Flash is its versatile workflow and production process. I have developed some custom techniques that can help you create and manage the various moving parts of a complex animated character.

In this presentation I reveal some of my best-kept secrets for drawing in Flash. Here's a guided tour (in Breeze) that takes a single character from pencil sketch to fully animated Flash cartoon.

Prior to that, he spent eight years as a freelance Flash designer and animator for clients such as Adobe, Microsoft, Ogilvy, Digitas, Yahoo!, and AOL, to name a few.
