Beginning
Ever wondered how you can create personalized video on the web? Want to create your own ElfYourself.com? In this video, I show you how it's done using After Effects CS4 (see note below) and Flash CS4 Professional. Before you get started, be sure to visit ElfYourself.com site so you'll understand the experience that I am building.
Although I cannot distribute the video used in my presentation, below is the code that I use, which should help you out:
import fl.video.MetadataEvent;
var paramObj:Object;
dancingman_vid.addEventListener(MetadataEvent.CUE_POINT, cuepointlistener);
function cuepointlistener(evt:MetadataEvent):void{
paramObj = evt.info.parameters;
var values:Array = paramObj["Track Point 1_Attach Point"].split(/,/);
face_mc.x = values[0];
face_mc.y = values[1];
}
