Flash Professional CS6 includes a new SWF compression type based on LZMA (Lempel-Ziv-Markov chain Algorithm). By switching to LZMA compression the SWF file size may be reduced up to 40% depending on the amount of ActionScript and vectors in the file (see Figure 1). LZMA compression is available in Flash Player 11 or AIR 3 or higher.
