An HTML template in Adobe Flash Professional is a file that contains static HTML code and flexible template code containing special types of parameters. When you publish a SWF file, Flash updates the values of these parameters with the values you select in the HTML tab of the Publish Settings dialog box (accessed from within the Publish section of the Property inspector) and generates an HTML page that embeds the exported SWF file.
The HTML object tag adds your SWF file to the HTML page:

In addition to the publish settings in Flash, you can use Adobe Dreamweaver to insert SWF content and generate the necessary object tag in an HTML file.
