Using Dreamweaver to share existing Flash applications

In this tutorial you will use the Distribution service extension for Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 or CS4 to add the share menu to an existing Flash application on a web page. The two ways you will do this are:

• Place a Share menu on the web page near the Flash content (see Figure 1).

• Wrap the Flash content with a wrapper that contains a hidden Share menu that is made visible by clicking a button (see Figures 2 and 3).

With either method, you can take existing Flash content and make it sharable using the Distribution service extension.

Prerequisite knowledge

Experienced web developers who are interested in learning how to use Adobe Dreamweaver to share Flash content.
