For the first time ever, Adobe will host an online Developer Week conference, June 12–16, to share with developers the background and significance behind the Adobe Flash Platform—and provide real-world sessions to illustrate how the platform works, the Adobe products it comprises—such as Flex—and its impact on the developer community.
What is the Flash Platform and why should you be interested in learning more? Built around Adobe PDF, Adobe Flash, and HTML technology, the platform comprises a number of key elements:
The free Adobe Developer Week conference—to be delivered online via Adobe Breeze—will be divided into three one-hour sessions per day, Monday through Friday. The conference is designed so that participants can elect to attend any or all of the sessions. Because they don't build on each other, there is no need to attend the first sessions in order to participate in those toward the end of the week. Each session will feature a live demo, and end with a Q&A so that attendees can get their questions answered by the presenters in real time.
Todd Hay, Director of Platform Marketing and Developer Relations, will kick off the first day of the conference with a session on the Flash Platform. Many of the sessions throughout the week will cover Adobe Flex, a powerful product line for creating rich Internet applications, and Adobe LiveCycle, a suite of document services built on the J2EE platform that can integrate into existing .NET or ColdFusion environments.

There are many more.
As a thank-you for participating in Adobe Developer Week, all participants will be entered to win a copy of Flex Builder each day. Plus, two additional participants will win an iRiver H10 MP3 Player, and a Sennheiser wireless headset.
