Do you make product recommendations? Do you design and manage web sites? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you might be interested in the Macromedia Affiliate Program. While planning the structure of the affiliate program, we thought that many of you in the developer and designer community would be ideal partners since so many of you use our applications on a daily basis and already recommend our products to your friends, colleagues, and clients. If you're already doing the work for us, why shouldn't you get paid?
Through the Affiliate Program, you make money by referring customers to the Macromedia website. You simply place links on your site. Every time your site refers a customer to the Macromedia website and that customer purchases a product, you earn a commission. Commission Junction, the industry leader in affiliate marketing services and our partner in the Affiliate Program, tracks and reports all the links you’ve made to the Macromedia website. Every month, when you’ve earned more than the minimum threshold ($25 US), Commission Junction sends you a check or a direct deposit with the commissions you have earned (based on the program’s terms). You have the opportunity to earn commissions up to 8% on Macromedia product sales that originate from your website.
Affiliates can sell Macromedia products including Studio, Studio Flash Pro, Macromedia Flash, Flash Pro, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, FreeHand, Authorware, ColdFusion, JRun, Contribute, Captivate, RoboHelp, Director, and others. You decide which products to promote from your site.
Additionally, we welcome applications to the Macromedia Affiliate program from most countries, but in order to participate you must have a website or blog that we can review.
Joining the program is easy, and requires minimal commitment from you to get started. Macromedia supplies all the tools (through our Affiliate Platform, hosted by Commission Junction) for becoming an affiliate. We help you with product marketing by providing online ads, text links, and sales collateral. Additionally, we handle all the fulfillment details, such as order processing, product shipments, billing, reporting, and your compensation.
