Built around Adobe PDF, Adobe Flash, and HTML technology at its core, the Adobe Technology Platform blends the strengths of Adobe technologies and open standards to provide a versatile foundation for extending the reach of information, processes, and services to customers, partners, and employees anytime, anywhere, and in any medium (see Figure 1).

Five key elements comprise the Adobe Technology Platform:

- Server frameworks that contain a rich collection of capabilities that can be used to accelerate the development of compelling, relevant, and actionable applications—including document, policy, forms management, communication, and collaboration services
