Creating Online Help (Part 2): Strategies and Implementation

As I mention in my previous article, Creating Online Help (Part 1): Design and Development Considerations, developing an online Help system involves three primary acts: creating topics, designing the windows within which your topics appear, and organizing ways for users to navigate from topic to topic within those windows. Now that I've explained what some of the topic design considerations are, let's focus on creating actual windows and navigation. This article also contributes some insights on embellishing your content to make it look professional and easy to understand.
