Building a desktop application with Flash Builder for Force.com – Part 4: Edit salesforce.com data

In this tutorial, you add functionality to your Force.com Flex desktop application to edit salesforce.com data. Specifically, you will:

  • Edit data using the LabelAndField component.
  • Explore the different edit modes available for the LabelAndField component.
  • Commit the data changes to the local database and the Force.com cloud.
  • Add a new item.
  • Delete an item.
  • Create and resolve data conflicts using the Stratus conflict management user interface.
