Quick start: Create your first Force.com Flex desktop application

This tutorial will step you through the process of building a Force.com Flex desktop application with Flash Builder for Force.com in an hour. In the process you will:

  • Get a Force.com Developer Edition account (if you do not already have a Force.com Developer, Enterprise, or Unlimited account).
  • Set up API access to your salesforce.com data by creating an offline briefcase and generating a WSDL on the salesforce.com website.
  • Use Flash Builder for Force.com to create a Flex AIR application that retrieves, displays, and edits salesforce.com data.
  • Package and install the AIR application.
