Adobe Scripting Center
The Adobe Creative Suite provides a wide range of powerful tools for your programming and integration requirements. One of these tools are the scripting languages available across the suite, which provide a low-cost method of creating integrations.
This scripting center provides access to the ExtendScript Toolkit, a complete integrated development environment (IDE) for programming ExtendScript. It also provides links to all of the scripting resources available across Adobe.com.
Adobe provides an excellent guide to getting started—the Adobe Introduction to Scripting. This document provides you with an overview of scripting solutions and walks you through creating your first script.

The latest version of ExtendScript Toolkit (ESTK 3.8) is available with Creative Suite 6.
The ExtendScript Toolkit comes with a number of improvements related to its usability:
- Added “Reveal in Explorer” menu option for documents open in ESTK.
- Added app.clc() to clear the console while executing a script with “ExtendScript Toolkit CS6” as target.
- Theme and UI changes
- Bug fixes.
