Nomad Science

Objective: This piece is based on a paper I wrote about Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari’s writings on Nomad Science (in “A Thousand Plateaus”). I wanted to convey a sense of the text as changing, impermanent and moving. The first and last quotes are my own, and the middle quote is from James Clifford’s article called “Travelling Cultures.” The music is by the band, Interpol.

Tools used: I made this piece primarily in Adobe® After Effects® but imported some of the text from Adobe Illustrator® and Adobe Photoshop®.
