Dishscape (part 1)
Objective: What I’m conveying with this piece is a sense of domestic routine through the rhythmic repetition of sound and image. This is also conveyed through the static frame, which though it does not move is continually pushed and prodded by the movement within it. Lastly, this piece is anchored in the “landscape” genre, a pictorial tradition which the piece begins with faithfully, but then steadily populates with the accoutrements of domesticity.
Tools used: Adobe® Premiere® was used throughout the process of making this video, for capturing the raw video and editing it to its final state.
