Biography: Elsa Chaves is a senior majoring in graphic and interactive communications at Ringling School of Art & Design (RSAD) in Sarasota, Florida. RSAD has taught her to be conceptual in her thinking, but not lose sight of what is being communicated, or who it is being communicated to. Elsa’s goal is to let the audience enjoy her work and understand its purpose and message. Being playful is also a major part of her design process. The goal for Elsa’s work is that it be as fun for the audience to experience as it is for her to create.

Objective: The objective of this project was to design a six-page website using text content from an existing product package. I wanted to experiment with type and image as a method of communication. Each page of the website corresponds to one side of the box.

Tools used: Adobe® Illustrator® was used for the design and layout. Adobe Photoshop® was used for slicing, and Adobe GoLive® was used for everything else.
