Artist's Statement: This intro is based on the 1961 version of the movie, and reset to modernize by giving it a more stylized look that is still yet relevant. The idea was to combine the story's concept and symbolism and transform it into this 50 second intro.

Using a DV camera, my colleague and I shot flies in a jar with water. The beginning footage is part of ringworm documentary, and the sound was sampled from an old record about to come to life. Music is from the Cardigans album Gran Turismo.
