Artist's Statement: The most important aspect of a portfolio website is to show the work in an effective and impressive way to the people who are in various environments and have no familiarity to the website.
To meet this concept, I pursued a simple interface, composed of just two elements, some small buttons and a large amount of white space. Putting all buttons close to the boders makes the central space larger, allowing larger images to be shown to the viewer.
A simple composition such as this also enables the first-time visitor to not only have an organized impression, but to become familiar with the layout quickly.
I also feel the concept to be of a universal design, allowing visitors with various platforms and browsers to access the site. Most of the pages use Frames so various sizes of monitor displays can be accommodated.
