Objective: www.barcodeart.com is my portfolio, my gallery, my diary. But above all it is a showcase for barcode-inspired creations. I developed a bare minimum design, deciding to stay focused on presenting my art on a clean and inviting screen instead of making extraneous graphics and complex code. Most of my projects are conceptually driven and require some background information to fully understand my objectives, so I have written a small description to go along with each piece. My main objective with all my work is to entertain, inform, and hopefully—inspire.

Tools used: I use Adobe® GoLive® to design all of my HTML layouts and to stay connected with my server using the FTP browser. I also use ImageReady® to make simple GIF animations. Photoshop® is behind almost every pixel I work with and in this project I especially used the Save for Web settings to optimize my graphics for faster downloads.
