Philip Andrews

Philip Andrews is an accomplished imaging professional, educator, and author who currently has 11 titles to his name and two other books in the writing or production stages. He has taught and written extensively on the use of Adobe® Photoshop® and Photoshop Elements software.

Andrews, an Australian whose passion is “making great images,” has 16 years of professional experience shooting commercial, editorial, and documentary photographs that have appeared in more than 40 magazines and newspapers. He received the prestigious Leica Documentary Award in 1999.

An author of more than 100 magazine articles read throughout the world, Andrews is one of the foremost experts in digital photography and digital imaging. His books include: Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 — A visual introduction to digital imaging; Photoshop Elements A-Z; Advanced Photoshop Elements for digital photographers; and Photoshop CS — Essential Skills.

Andrews, an Alpha tester for Adobe digital software products, has worked with students of all ages and skill levels in the U.K. and Australia. He has helped design and write more than 15 accredited courses.
