Bob Flynn is the manager of IT community partnerships at Indiana University. He works to break down organizational barriers to communication and cooperation by creating collaborative opportunities throughout the university. A long-time user group manager at Macromedia and Adobe, Flynn loves to turn people on to fun technologies and to see people share and learn together.
Before taking his current position, Flynn was the IT director of a graduate program office, an Advanced Certified Adobe® ColdFusion® developer, and an instructor in Indiana University's IT education program. He coauthored "Adobe Dreamweaver® CS3 with ASP, ColdFusion, and PHP: Training from the Source" from Adobe Press and was a contributor to "Macromedia® Studio 8: Training from the Source" from Macromedia Press.
In his former life as a linguist and teacher, Flynn taught Russian at Indiana University, the University of Kentucky, and Ohio University. He and his wife, Yvonne, also spent three years teaching English and sowing the seeds of an Ultimate Frisbee revolution in Hungary.
