Damien Bruyndonckx teaches multimedia at IHECS, a Brussels-based school of communication. He is also responsible for SAM, a new distance-learning platform that he helped to create.
He originally trained as an elementary schoolteacher. He began his teaching career in 1998 teaching French, his native language, in two elementary public schools in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In 2001, Damien returned to Belgium, his home country, and started a new career as an IT trainer. Over the years, he obtained ACE and ACI status on four Adobe Products (Dreamweaver, Acrobat, Captivate and ColdFusion).
In 2009, Damien decided to return to teaching, but this time, in an institution of higher education. Today, he plays an important role at IHECS, Institut des Hautes Etudes des Communications Sociales.
