"The greatest gift we are given is the ability to impact the lives of others. As teachers we are given the greatest gift of all."
Eric Rosenfeld first started in the digital arts world by integrating computer graphics and web design while teaching middle school. Realizing the potential impact of technology on information and education, he temporarily left teaching to pursue freelance work and to obtain further education at what was then Full Sail Real World Education.
In 2000 he was invited back to teach. Working at Full Sail allowed Rosenfeld to pursue his passion for teaching while continuing to work in the industry for clients such as Disney, Scholastic Publishing, and MTV. At Full Sail, he taught computer graphics and motion graphics from 2000-2008.
In 2009, Rosenfeld became program director of the Digital Arts & Design degree at Full Sail University. In 2010, he helped create the online Graphic Design Bachelor of Science. Rosenfeld describes himself as a "generalist" of digital arts but recently has specialized in the integration of print, 3D, and motion graphics in multiple distribution formats.
