Glen Sabatier is senior project manager at Athabasca University and has an extensive career in software and infrastructure development project management.
At Athabasca, Sabatier works with several academic and technical groups to ensure effective delivery of a wide variety of projects. These include developing a central podcasting system, web conferencing implementations, and LMS upgrades, as well as migrations and conversions between different learning management systems. Prior to this position, he worked as the University of Alberta's manager of Central eLearning Services. From time to time, he also speaks to staff and students at local universities and colleges on project management.
Glen enjoys playing music, reading, and spending time outdoors. He can be found in his basement practicing the guitar — trying to relive the glory days of his high school rock band — or out on the lake sailing a catamaran, canoeing, or fishing.
