Dr. Glenn Griffin teaches courses in creativity and portfolio development at the University of Alabama and is also an author and researcher. In September 2010, his first book, The Creative Process Illustrated: How Advertising's Big Ideas Are Born, was published by HOW Books. His scholarly work has been published in the Journal of Advertising, the Journal of Advertising Education and others. His students' work has been featured in both national and international press, including Advertising Age, Adweek, Archive and CMYK magazines and receives recognition from The One Club for Art & Copy, the Art Directors Club and the Clio Awards, among other organizations. Griffin has also been a featured speaker at SXSW Interactive, the HOW Design Conference and The One Club Education Summit.
