Jason Madsen is the program manager for Full Sail University's Web Design & Development Bachelor of Science degree program. He can also be found working on curriculum for the university's Mobile Development degree program. He has developed for the Adobe® Flash® Platform since 2002, originally with the Flash IDE and now with Adobe Flash Professional, Flash Builder®, Flex, and Java. He has created the curriculum for various programming courses at Full Sail University, including Flash Fundamentals, Concepts of Object-Oriented Programming, and Flex Frameworks.
Oddly enough, a love of music led Madsen to the tech world. In the late 1990s as a working musician, he began tinkering on web systems to distribute music to remote studios and clients. A love of programming took hold, and he hasn't looked back. While his passion for music and performance still rings true, he finds the challenges of programming and building systems fascinating enough to command his attention.
