Jeffrey Diamond is a professor in the Computer Studies Department at Santa Rosa Junior College.
He created and now manages the development of the interdisciplinary Interactive Media Design Associate Degree and Career Certificate. He also teaches web design, programming, and multimedia classes. He is an Adobe Certified Instructor in both Adobe® Dreamweaver® and Flash® Professional.
During the 2009–2010 academic year, Diamond was the technology coordinator at Lincoln Community School in Accra, Ghana. He managed the Technology Department IT staff and its US$260,000 IT budget. He instituted policies and infrastructure for technology repairs and requests. He also trained school staff in the use and implementation of Google Apps and other multimedia programs. During his time at the Accra school, Diamond also carried a 50% teaching load.
Diamond earned a bachelor's degree in music therapy and a master's in education. Earlier in his career, he was a performing arts teacher in Spain, and later in New Delhi, India, at the American Embassy School.
He spent his 2012 sabbatical planning a new Mobile Media certificate, riding a bike in Europe, and sleeping as late as he wanted.
