"Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."
— Albert Einstein

Jeroen den Dunnen has worked since February 2007 as innovator for the Graphic Lyceum Rotterdam (GLR), the largest specialized educational institute in the field of media, design, and technology in the Netherlands. As innovator, he is the primary advisor on technological developments within the media and design industry for the board of directors and delivers technological contributions that improve education at the school. One of these contributions has been the successful introduction of the Wacom Cintiq for several courses within various departments.

His most recent project was the development and design of several new facilities at the school, including a presentation room and a training room. These facilities are the first to incorporate the school's new brand identity, along with state-of-the-art equipment.

As part of his job as innovator, he also holds the role of ambassador for Kennisnet, the foremost public knowledge center in the Netherlands for information and communication technologies (ICT) in education. Kennisnet's mission is to support schools and educational facilities with independent services to ensure the effective and safe use of ICT.

Den Dunnen works occasionally as a trainer for MediaCollege, a Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam knowledge center. In his spare time, he is also blogger for Dutch Cowboys, Holland's most popular blog on social media, interactive marketing, and technology. He also works as image editor for the Adobe User Group Netherlands, a community of over 3500 creative professionals.

Den Dunnen has a diploma in Information Technology and Media Production from the Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam and holds a BA in Graphic Media Technology from the School of Communication, Media Design and Information Technology at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
