Lieve Weymeis is a civil engineer and professional musician. After eight years of research in shell construction stability (several publications), she started her career as a college lecturer in the Construction and Real Estate departments, teaching several technical courses and ICT. She is known as a specialist in building site project management, blended learning, and eLearning.
As head of the Construction Department for 10 years, Weymeis introduced new pedagogical methodologies and the use of a Learning Management System. Presently she is researching blended learning, eLearning, and social media. She also develops eLearning courses and offers training in Adobe® Photoshop®, InDesign®, Adobe Captivate®, and eLearning Suite software.
A beta tester for Adobe Captivate, she was invited in 2009 to be a member of its Advisory Board. In 2010 she agreed to serve as a moderator for Adobe Captivate online Help. She is an active member of the Adobe Captivate Community on user forums, Twitter, and LinkedIn. She also writes a popular blog about eLearning Suite.
