Mark Blaine teaches digital storytelling and interactive media at the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication. He has developed the introductory curriculum: a three-course series in digital and interactive storytelling, critical thinking and information design.
In his previous career he was a magazine editor, investigative reporter (with a focus on data reporting), and newspaper editor. He authored Whitewater: The Thrill and Skill of Running the World’s Great Rivers in 2001 and is working on another book.
