"Teachers who learn technology, and are imaginative in teaching with it, have given themselves and their students an enormous opportunity for success."
Ryan Visser trains nearly 300 pre-service teachers each year as a Clemson University clinical faculty member and staff member of the South Carolina Center of Excellence for Instructional Technology Training. He is especially excited to work with a cadre of undergraduate students selected to participate in a five-semester program because of their enthusiasm for educational technologies. Visser likes to think these students will form a traveling Clemson Geek Squad, visiting schools to help teachers integrate technology into their curriculum.
He and Adobe Education Leader Chris Peters have coauthored technology training videos for educators that have been published by the International Society for Technology in Education. He has made other training videos for use by participants in his state, regional, and national conference workshops, which focus on Adobe® Photoshop® Elements and Dreamweaver® software.
