Sheri German is an author, educator, and web developer based in metropolitan Washington, D.C. She is an instructor of web technologies at Montgomery College with an expertise in CSS and web standards. She has taught web technology to graduate education majors in the Teach for America program, trained college instructors through a federal PT3 grant, and trained art teachers for the Department of Defense Dependent Schools. Through various venues, she continues to train aspiring web professionals to deploy standards-compliant sites and to give them the skills they need to successfully interview for area web design companies.
German is a Certified Dreamweaver Developer. With an MA in music, she uses her Adobe® Dreamweaver® and Fireworks® skills to concentrate on sites for people in the arts. She also currently creates and maintains sites for various music programs in the Howard County, Maryland, public school system. She employs Adobe Flash® technology based video, podcasts, and other technologies to enhance music education.
German's undergraduate degrees in English and Desktop Publishing prepared her well to write the custom training materials she prepares for use in her classes. Through her publications, she shares her knowledge of Adobe programs and web technologies.
