Tom Green is a professor of interactive multimedia at the Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning’s School of Media Studies.
Green is the author of 12 books with Pearson Education and "friends of ED," including such best-selling books as "Foundation Flash CS4 for Designers," "Foundation Flash® CS3 for Designers," "Foundation Flash CS3 Video," and "From After Effects® to Flash: Poetry in Motion Graphics." He has also produced the "Fireworks® CS3, Essential Training" video training series for lynda.com.
Green is an Adobe Community Expert and a member of the Product Advisory Boards for Adobe Captivate®, Flash Media Server, and Fireworks.
Green is a popular speaker and regularly does presentations at major industry conferences around the world. These conferences include FITC (Flash in the Can), Spark Europe, TODCON, FITC Hollywood, Adobe Max, Web Design World, and Digital Design World. He has conducted expert lectures at schools such as the Rochester Institute of Technology, Pasadena Community College, Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, University of Wisconsin, and the Red River Community College in Winnipeg.
Green is also a partner at Community MX and regularly contributes articles and tutorials to Digital-Web magazine, Layersmagazine.com, Community MX, the Adobe Design Center, and the Adobe Developer Connection. In addition, he is a founding member of one of the largest Adobe User Groups in the world — FlashinTO.
