Adobe offers multiple options for students and instructors to validate their digital media skills.
Now educators and students can get certified for both entry-level skills as an Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) and professional-level skills as an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE).
New: The new Adobe Certified Associate Classroom License means lower costs, expanded implementation, increased control, and simplified budgeting.
Adobe Certified Associate
This certification is a credential that validates entry-level skills needed to plan, design, build, and maintain effective communications by using different forms of digital media.
Developed and deployed by Certiport, each associate-level certification exam will correspond to a particular Adobe application used for digital communication. These are:
- Web Communication using Adobe® Dreamweaver®
- Rich Media Communication using Adobe Flash®
- Visual Communication using Adobe Photoshop®

Learn Adobe Flash CS4 Professional by Video: Core Training in Rich Media Communication
Combines more than 15 hours of interactive video and a printed reference to teach you the basics of Flash CS4 Professional. Structured around the objectives of the “Rich Media Communication Using Adobe Flash CS4 Professional” exam at the Adobe Certified Associate level, the product teaches you not only the fundamentals of Flash, but also the basic principles of rich media design. Includes lesson files, assessment quizzes and review materials.
Get certified — new certification license

Academic institutions can now offer an unlimited number of ACA exams for any version of the software. With the ACA Classroom License, your institution can conduct unlimited online ACA testing in one classroom with up to 30 computers. For details, view the FAQ.

The Adobe Certified Expert exams validate in-depth software knowledge.
ACE exam discount for educators
Educators and students are eligible for 50% off the regular fee for the Adobe ACE exam. Register online to take advantage of this offer.
Once you have registered online, you will be sent an e-mail message that contains a unique voucher number that allows you to sign up for an ACE exam* at the educator discount by contacting the following testing company.

ACE certification is a recognized worldwide standard for Adobe software expertise, so sign up now to take the exam (and don't forget to study).
Important: If you have already registered and need a new voucher number, you may reregister for a new number. Educators are allowed to register more than once. You do need a separate voucher number for each exam.
