Updating Components

To update (edit) a component, perform the following steps:

  1. Open the component from the Extras tab of the Site Window.
  2. Edit the component document as desired.
  3. Save the component under the same name.

GoLive will identify all the files using the component and ask for confirmation that each of the pages should be updated. This is a nice feature, because it tells you what files use the component and allows you to deselect any files you don't want updated with the new component content.
