Andrea Gürtler teaches graphic design and multimedia at the MultiAugustinum, a commercial college, higher level. As one of two technology coordinators, she implements and integrates the school's technology and provides technical assistance to teachers and students. She also maintains the school's Moodle Learning System and Joomla-based website.
Gürtler's original subjects are chemistry and English. Therefore, she is engaged in a number of cross-curricular projects, helping teachers to develop eLearning courses.
Since it's very important that skilled students get the chance to earn certifications, Gürtler gives preparatory lessons for basic Apple certifications and prepares to include Adobe certifications as well.
Gürtler is also an Apple Distinguished Educator, so her technology proficiencies include not only Adobe® Photoshop®, Dreamweaver®, InDesign®, and Flash® software, but also a wide range of Apple products.
Gürtler's hobbies are beer brewing, fire eating, and photography. She is married and has a daughter.
