Daniel Ricardo is the senior information technology teacher at Merrimac State High School. He has taught a range of senior IT subjects including Information Processing and Technology, Information Technology Systems, and the Certificate II in Information Digital Media and Technology. He has been responsible for the development of the Information Communications Technology curriculum both in the middle and senior secondary schools. Ricardo has a keen interest in all facets of technology and especially enjoys the creative side of multimedia mixed with the developmental side of games programming. He is an experienced software programmer who is familiar with a range of Adobe tools both as a user and as an educator, including Dreamweaver, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, and Flash Professional.
Ricardo holds a Bachelor of Information Technology and a Bachelor of Education (secondary), completing his studies at Queensland University of Technology in 2006.
