Dave Forrester has been developing K-12 online learning environments and providing training since the mid-1990s. He specializes in website development and authoring and focuses on increasing the use of communication and collaboration technology tools in schools and organizations that support K-12 education.
Forrester serves on the district's technology advisory board and, in 2007, led the Olympia High School Counseling Department's successful website development effort. He consults with the district's new Online Learning Academy and expects to facilitate the integration of Adobe® Acrobat® Connect™ Professional software into the Academy's future learning management system. Forrester collaborates with the Adobe education team to bring new training opportunities, online meetings, and web presentations to large groups working with Washington state K-12 education. His leadership skills and enthusiasm help promote the use of numerous Adobe applications to improve education.
Forrester is the technology chair for the Washington School Counselor Association and has written several articles on using Adobe software. He also presents workshops and trains educators and school counselors across the state on using technology. Forrester, who holds a Master's degree in School Counseling from Seattle University, remains open to learning from, and sharing with, the worldwide educational community. He has been an Adobe Education Leader since 2007.
