"Excellence is doing more than others expect - and it comes from striving, maintaining the highest standards, looking after the smallest detail, and going the extra mile."
- Denise Pierce
Denise Pierce is Chief Academic Officer for Louis Educational Concepts. She has been an educator since the early 1980s, and began working with technology as a college student. Previously she was the Virtual Learning Academy Coordinator for Lewisville ISD. Before, she worked for Birdville ISD, where she implemented new and upgraded software versions, developed and integrated engaging technology lessons into the curriculum, and provided training for teachers to strengthen their technology skills.
She particularly enjoys educating others about the latest Adobe software and its benefits.
As a teacher, Pierce implemented Adobe software-based technology courses that enabled students to develop skills they could use in college and careers.
Pierce was a trainer for the Intel Teach to the Future program and is a math consultant for Laying the Foundations, a division of AP Strategies, working with pre-AP math teachers to better prepare students for Advanced Placement courses. She presents at conference workshops in mathematics and technology and relies on Adobe’s Premiere and Photoshop software to share her expertise. Pierce also uses Adobe software in her personal life, creating videos and photo collages.
Pierce holds a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and a master's degree in Mathematics.
