Denise Stalnaker is a National Board Certified business educator instructor who has worked to promote the mixing traditional business studies with technology. In West Virginia, Denise has worked to develop and write standards for such courses as digital imaging, web page publishing, and game design. In her classroom She introduces her students to the basics of Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and InDesign. Sometime in the near future, she would like to develop activities for students to create mobile apps.
Presently Denise is the Professional Development Specialist for Globaloria. Globaloria sparks student imaginations as they learn to design and program their own educational games through a mix of teacher-led instruction, team-based learning, and online networking with experts and peers.
When she’s not at work, Denise likes to spend time with her family, read, walk, and do crafts.
