Geoff Hooton is a music educator and head of the Arts Department at Tullawong State High School in South East Queensland. Hooton is passionate about preparing music students for real world creative endeavors by teaching skills across a diverse range of digital arts–based disciplines. He believes this multifaceted approach to digital content creation can then serve as a basis for his students to thrive beyond the classroom.
He is also interested in leading teachers and students into the digital arts/media revolution through integration of strategies that push creative thinking both in and out of the classroom. Hooton enjoys manipulating stills and video in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
He also works in the music industry as a performer, songwriter/composer, and producer. He has released two solo albums, both of which are available in the iTunes Store.
