Glenn Buchanan is the Digital Education Revolution (DER) project coordinator in the Riverina Region of the New South Wales Department of Education and Communities, Australia. In this role, he assists teachers in changing classroom practice to reflect 21st century thought leadership through the implementation of the one-to-one computer program. He designs and delivers professional development training, showing teachers how to increase student engagement by integrating technology into their curriculum. They complete his training with skills in designing quality lessons that incorporate tasks aimed at developing critical thinking skills.
Previously, Buchanan was the regional implementation coordinator for the Connected Classrooms Program, an initiative that embedded videoconferencing and interactive whiteboards into all New South Wales public schools. He was responsible for training teaching staff to integrate this technology into the classroom. Through his extensive experience in delivering Adobe® Connect™ to isolated and rural students, Buchanan has developed a love for the Adobe products that have enabled his students to create, collaborate, and connect in their learning.
