"To have a great idea, have a lot of them."
— Thomas Edison
Jerrad Gleim has dedicated the majority of his 12-year career teaching math and pre-algebra at the middle school level. For the last three years, he has been a part of the Integrating Curriculum and Technology Specialists (ICATS) team, where he has worked as webmaster for the ICATS website, utilizing Adobe® Creative Suite® software to develop and implement digital and video resources for the district.
He is also a member of the district eLearning team. This group supports the middle and high school 1:1 initiatives that service approximately 12,000 students. In an effort to support the amazing work the educators in his district are doing to develop 21st century learning in media-rich environments, Gleim and his team developed a collaborative network of teachers, coaches, and administrators who want to share their strengths in technology and curriculum with others in the district. The network is a learning hub for all educators and a collaboration tool for its members. Gleim conceived and created the directory web pages where educators can search and connect with an expert for assistance. He recently presented at the EVSC eLearning Revolution Conference and at ICE (Indiana Computer Educator's Conference).
Gleim received his Master’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana in Secondary Education and has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a Middle School Endorsement in Mathematics from Indiana University.
